Kev - Vocals

Kev, the youngest member of the band started his journey in 2007 for Hartlepool function band The Hobbies as their Keyboard player.

After only 2-3 gigs, Kev embarked on a journey as the lead singer and continues in that role to this day.

In 2016, Kev met Steve and Mike and discussed starting a new venture. We did a handful of gigs under the name Full Frequency.

After parting ways with both the guitarist and drummer, Steve and Kev added Simon and John having worked with them in the past.

Electric Sheep formed in August 2017 and have never looked back.

Kev enjoys interacting with the audience and entertaining a crowd.

Simon - Guitar, Backing Vocals

Simon has played guitar and provided vocals for a few bands over the years including Insider, Rebel Company and Alchemy Sound. He enjoys the rock stuff best but will attempt to play almost anything if asked nicely! Just don't ask him the way to Amarillo.

Fave Gear: Fender American Custom Stratocaster, Orange CR60 amp and 4X12 Speaker cab. Various pedals and also a rather large mouth organ!

Mike - Keyboards

Mike has tinkled the ivories in a number of bands since 2001, including Insider, Party of Five, and Full Frequency.

One of his highlights - other than every gig with Electric Sheep - was having his original song written with Insider broadcast on Fresh Radio and Radio Cleveland.

Mike is a Yamaha fanatic and currently uses an aging but perfectly capable MOX6 synth because of its ability to split 4 different sounds at a time allowing him to play Piano, Sax, Pizzicato and strings on some songs like It Must Be Love by Madness.

Mike enjoys playing strings and adding extra electric guitar to the rocky numbers from the likes of Billy Idol, Bon Jovi, and Kaiser Chiefs but also likes the Ecclesiastical opening of Faith with the St Paul’s Cathedral Organ which can take the crowd by surprise!

Steve - Bass, Backing Vocals

Steve has played in local club and function bands for a decade or so, covering many different styles of music. He is enjoying getting back to his first love and laying down the bass lines for some classic rock numbers.

John - Drums

John’s been playing in bands for over 40 years and is beginning to get the hang of it. Previous bands include Exclusion Zone and Freeze Sucker!! As well as his duties for the Sheep he plays for function band The Hobbies with Kev.

John uses Ludwig drums and Zildjian cymbals. His influences are John Bonham, Lee Kerslake and Carter Beauford but will play anything if you feed him.
